I turned 33 years old on Saturday. For my birthday, I wanted to go to the temple. It had been far too long since I had gone. It was really neat because the drive to the temple was incredibly foggy, you could barely see anything. It was a thick, dark, mist, the whole way.
And then we got to the temple . . . a shining beacon of light in the darkness.
It was so beautiful to behold. Breathtaking, really. The pictures do not do it justice . . .
It had an almost green glow about it.
I am so grateful that the temple is there -- a place of peace -- amidst a world of increasing darkness
I love to see the temple . . . the outside, and especially the inside. I love to go there and allow Heaven to guide my thoughts. It is the House of God. I know it. I am grateful to know it.
I could not think of anywhere I would rather go on my birthday.
